Funeral services will be held Friday in Dallas for veteran farm broadcaster Roddy Peeples. Peeples, 94, was a 70-year member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting. He served as NAFB president in 1982, was named Farm Broadcaster of the Year in 1992 and was inducted into the NAFB Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2001. Peeples established the Voice of Southwest Agriculture Radio Network in the early 1960s and sold the business to Clear Channel Communications in 1995.
