North Dakota Farm Bureau President Val Wagner has been elected to represent the Midwest Region on the American Farm Bureau Federation Board of Directors. “We’re talking a lot about input costs, farm profitability and making sure there are reasonable safety nets in place,” said Wagner. “We’re also discussing what we can do to strengthen the future of agriculture.” Wagner is the first North Dakota Farm Bureau president to serve on the AFBF board since 1999.
