President Donald Trump’s visit to Medora wasn’t just about celebrating the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. North Dakota Senator John Hoeven said the administration’s focus on agriculture, energy, and trade is creating new opportunities for farmers across the state. “We’re an ag powerhouse, we’re an energy powerhouse. He just wants to build on those.” Hoeven said North Dakota is drawing national attention in agriculture, citing the NDSU Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Policy and Grand Farm’s management of the USDA National Proving Grounds Network for AgTech. “He’s empowering us and other states around the country to be strong now, but even stronger and better in the future.”
