During President Trump’s visit to North Dakota on Tuesday, NDFB Public Policy Director Calvin Benson acknowledged the Administration’s respect for agriculture. “The President’s made it clear he understands that agriculture is the backbone of the United States and without farmers and without agriculture, we don’t have a functioning country.” Benson cited Trump’s executive orders declaring farm inputs as matters of national security and reminding Americans about the agricultural roots of this country.
