Federal regulators got a firsthand look at crop production and pesticide stewardship during the North Dakota Grain Growers Association’s annual EPA Tour. NDGGA Executive Director Nick Sinner said the event allows EPA staff to better understand production agriculture while encouraging open dialogue with growers. “We’ve had a good group of people; a lot of good discussion, a lot of give and take, and everybody’s learning from each other on this tour.” Now in its 33rd year, the tour continues to attract strong participation from EPA employees. “We’ve been told this is one of the more sought-after tours that the folks from the EPA are offered.”
