The Trump administration is again urging Congress to take action on E15. The request was included in the White House supplemental budget proposal sent to Congress. Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought is asking lawmakers to approve a legislative fix that would permanently allow year-round E15 sales. Biofuel and farm organizations, including the National Corn Growers Association, Growth Energy and the American Soybean Association, quickly endorsed the proposal and called on the Senate to act. While the House has already approved year-round E15 legislation, the measure still faces opposition from some refining interests in the Senate.
