There have been limited opportunities to spray for weeds this season. “I would imagine with the rain and everything we’ve had, we’ve got weeds going like crazy,” said Jenna Schill, sales manager, CHS Devils Lake. “Yeah, people are definitely in their sprayers and are going to be in their sprayers probably until that fungicide timing hits.” In her region, Schill said corn acreage is up while cereal crops are down. Canola acreage is slightly higher and soybean acres are steady with the last few years.
