It was a record-setting bull sale season. “Since October 1, I’ve reported 162 sales; we sold 11,909 bulls and they averaged $11,574,” said Andrew Swanson, regional manager, American Angus Association. “Compared to a year ago, the bulls are $2,877 per head higher and we sold about seven percent more bulls than last year.” Swanson remains optimistic about the coming sale season. “This market has really pulled together and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.”
