A key component of the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Tax Credit is moving closer to completion. USDA’s proposed feedstock rule is now under review at the Office of Management and Budget. The final standards could influence conservation adoption, crop production decisions, ethanol and sustainable aviation fuel feedstock supplies and the value farmers receive for producing low-carbon crops.
