Addressing delegates at the North Dakota FFA Convention, State Treasurer Rose Schiele reflected on overcoming self-doubt after being elected to state office. “I was so busy dwelling on those imperfections that I missed the small moments that mattered most,” Schiele said.”It is those small moments, the quiet conversations, the things that we don’t think twice about that matter most.” During her retiring address, Schiele added that the support of fellow FFA members helped her develop confidence and leadership skills.
