The North Dakota FFA Convention utilized the Sanford Health Athletic Complex for the second consecutive year, a sign of the organization’s continued growth and strong student participation.”This is our second year actually moving to the SHAC,” said State Reporter Evelyn Seil. “We outgrew our old facility that we held our sessions in, which is really exciting because that just means that membership is growing and also involvement is growing.” Seil said FFA’s impact extends far beyond production agriculture. “Many state officers, you think they’re going into an ag-related field, but I’m actually a nursing major,” said Seil. “I have learned so many skills through FFA, being able to talk to people, to feel comfortable in a job interview and to connect with people on a deeper level.”
