USDA confirmed two additional cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in commercial poultry flocks in Becker County, Minnesota. Federal officials said one case involved more than 17,000 commercial turkey breeder replacement hens, while another operation included nearly 23,000 birds. Minnesota has now recorded eight commercial poultry flock infections so far in 2026.
