The U.S. beef industry has regained access to the Chinese market. Following the Trump-Xi summit, China extended the approval of 425 beef facilities and approved nearly 80 new registrations. On X, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins praised President Trump, calling him the ‘deal-maker-in-chief.’ Rollins said this action builds on the Administration’s work to provide the certainty needed to grow the domestic beef herd. U.S. Meat Export Federation President and CEO Dan Halstrom is looking for more details on this announcement but said China’s action is “excellent news for the U.S. beef industry.”
