With a vote of 224-to-200, the House farm bill has passed. The lawmakers removed three controversial pesticide labeling provisions, which is seen as a win for the ‘Make America Healthy Again’ coalition. The bill also eliminates the emissions mandate for farm equipment and includes a fix for California’s Prop 12 initiative. The House overwhelmingly rejected an attempt to drop the USDA mandate for electronic identification of cattle and bison for interstate movement.
