The opening of the Strait of Hormuz doesn’t solve the access and cost issues with fertilizer. A report from StoneX says the shipping industry remains skeptical. As a result, traffic has not increased significantly. If ships can move freely, the report said the priority will be with oil tankers while fertilizer shipments remain parked in the Persian Gulf.
