USDA Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg has been nominated to be the next executive director for the United Nations World Food Program. If selected, the South Dakota native would succeed Cindy McCain. Before joining the Administration, Lindberg founded South Dakota Trade. Lindberg is also the son-in-law of Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
