With Grand Farm serving as the model for National Proving Grounds Network for AgTech, its co-founder, Brian Carroll, said it comes down to project management, but on a larger scale. “With our model and ecosystem, what we’ll be able to do is scale that across the nation and put some program management to it,” said Carroll. “We’re going to source problems from all over the country, and what we’ll do is convene technology and innovation solution providers in order to have an impact on those.” Work is already underway on a 30-acre plot at Grand Farm. The first target that will be tackled is weed resistance.
