The United States has been the sole supplier of potatoes for Mexico for the past 20 years. That’s changed now with Canada getting a piece of that business. Mexico and Canada have a new agreement to allow fresh Canadian potatoes into Mexico. The two sides have been working to strengthen their bilateral trade relationship ahead of the USMCA formal review process.
