A coalition of farm groups and ag companies have signed a joint letter asking the Trump Administration to lift the duties on phosphate imports from Morocco. The change is seen as a way to provide relief from the surging fertilizer prices due to the conflict in the Persian Gulf. The letter was signed by executives from Mosaic and J.R. Simplot, plus leaders from the American Farm Bureau Federation, National Corn Growers Association, American Soybean Association and others.
