Kiera Leddy has gone from a farm girl in northeastern South Dakota to a successful agricultural attorney. In this Agricult-HER episode, she discusses the importance of communication, advocacy, legal understanding, and relationship-building in agriculture, highlighting her work with Hutterite colonies and her efforts to simplify complex legal topics for farmers. Leddy focuses on relationships. “I was in South Dakota Ag and Rural Leadership and we talked about personal development and leadership,” said Leddy. “Last year, I got certified under Maxwell Leadership; those things are very relationship-focused. We take a servant leadership approach here at our law firm, always remembering that at the end of the day, we’re all people and we should all want the best for each other.” Watch the interview.
