Dvergsten Joins Farm Advocate Program

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has added a new Farm Advocate to its statewide network. Ron Dvergsten of Thief River Falls has spent most of his career as an ag lender and farm business management instructor. The Farm Advocate Program has been supported by MDA since 1984. Dvergsten joins 11 other Farm Advocates offering one-on-one help and advice to farmers facing a crisis caused by financial problems or natural disasters. The services are confidential and free of charge.
