North Dakota Senator John Hoeven says year-round E15 remains a top priority for Congress. Hoeven told the Red River Farm Network he was disappointed the provision was left out of recent legislation but believes another opportunity is coming soon. “In talking with G.T. Thompson, the chair of the ag committee in the House, they are going to try to put the portions of the farm bill that we didn’t include in the One Big, Beautiful Bill,” said Hoeven. “G.T. is hoping to move something by the end of February or in that range and try to attach the year-round E-15 to that. If we do a supplemental, we’re going to try to do some additional assistance, and that might be a vehicle for E-15 as well.” Hoeven also emphasized the need for more financial support for farmers. “We definitely need to do some more for our sugar guys, so there are multiple efforts ongoing there.”
