Changes Sought in Railroad Merger Proposal

The Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific railroads have until February 17 to announce if they will move forward with another merger proposal. If so, the revised application to the Surface Transportation Board must be submitted by late June. The STB rejected their most recent application.
