Following a trade mission to Malaysia, USDA Undersecretary of Agriculture for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg says recent trade agreements are opening new doors for U.S. farmers and ranchers. “These rapid response missions are taking advantage of new market access for our farmers in light of the president’s new agreements around the world,” Lindberg added that global demand for American products remains strong. “When you buy American, you’re buying quality,” he said. “People want American food because they truly do believe it is safely produced and it is nutritious for their families.”
