Otter Tail Power Company has filed a request with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to raise electric rates for its Minnesota customers. The request begins an 18- to 24-month review process to determine the final rate decision. The company is also seeking permission for an interim rate increase of about 12.6 percent starting January 1, 2026. If approved, the typical residential customer’s bill would rise about $13 per month, and a typical business would see an increase of about $44.
