New SDSU Wheat Released

South Dakota State University is releasing a new hard red winter wheat variety. SD Vivian demonstrates moderate to good resistance to drought, stem rust and Hessian fly. It is also described as a high-yielding variety with above-average protein. It will be available for purchase for planting this fall.
