Even with an early frost that took off a bit of the top end in the soybeans, Rugby, North Dakota farmer Steve Fritel says the overall yields were good. “We noticed the yield differences, but overall, I guess we’re pleased with the yields that we had.” Fritel says the weather this growing season was great for the crops. “We went through a dry time in June, and then July got some rain that really benefited the crops more than we anticipated.”
