Bryn Jacobson is a 4-H ambassador for Norman County 4-H and a member of the Super Sewers 4-H Club. “I like to find projects that challenge me.” A crop production project focusing on corn fit that bill. In 2025, Jacobson earned a purple ribbon at the Minnesota State Fair with her corn sample. “I’ve done that, now I’ll try something else.” 4-H has also enabled the Ada, Minnesota, student to take a leadership role. “Leadership is a very important part of 4-H; I’ve definitely learned it through the years, leading my club through different projects, also becoming an ambassador and vice president of the federation,” said Jacobson. “It’s taught me about leadership, understanding my goals and being able to lead people in the right direction to accomplish a project or learn a new skill.” The Red River Farm Network salute to National 4-H Week is sponsored by AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Associated Milk Producers and its Dinner Bell Creamery and by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation.
