Considering the wet season he’s had, Chad Willis is happy with his soybeans. “We’re in that area that had 35 to 40 inches of rain this year so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but on the patterned tile ground, they did really good. The latter beans did a lot better.” The Willmar, Minnesota farmer sees it as an overall average crop, “but I was expecting much worse.”
