At Oakes, North Dakota, Scott German is seeing a lot of variability in his soybeans. “We just got rolling good on beans,” said German. “We got a few hundred acres done, maybe a little too early to give a yield projection, but the ones we’ve done so far, they’re good.” The weather has been a bit of a factor. “This spring we started super dry, then we had some timely rains, and everything was looking good. Since June, things have been pretty wet here, and that’s probably going to take some of the top end off some of these beans.”
