The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association Convention and Trade Show brought ranchers from across the state together to discuss current issues and draft policies. “There’s strong demand for beef products and a lot of excitement here,” said NDSA Executive Director Julie Ellingson. “There’s a willingness to work together on policy issues and to keep that momentum going for the year coming ahead.” Even a short-notice change-of-venue didn’t stop ranchers from filling the convention and tradeshow floors. “We know it’s a busy time on North Dakota cattle ranches, and so we really want to take advantage of putting together a jam-packed program and make sure this is a valuable experience for folks.”
