China reportedly booked at least ten cargoes of Argentine soybeans on Monday after the government temporarily eliminated export taxes on grains, beef and poultry. This move by the Argentine government makes its soybeans more competitive in the world market. The decision was made to speed up sales and bring in much-needed dollars to prop up its currency values.
