Dry edible beans were being harvested in northwest Minnesota before this past week’s rain. CHS Ag Services Sales Agronomist Brian Oachs expects growers to venture into soybeans this week. “Some of the earliest in and earliest maturities are getting right about ready to go.” The area wheat yields and quality exceeded expectations. “Protein was really nice. A lot of guys averaged in that 14 plus (percent). The VOM was back down this year, which was nice. Yield was, I’d probably call it 15 percent above average.”
