NDSU Extension Plant Pathologist Andrew Friskop warns farmers to keep an eye on frost damage. “One thing that might occur when you see frost damage is a rise in stalk rot probability, so if you’re out there and you’re seeing some stalk integrity issues, just try to prioritize those fields that seem to be more at risk of falling over and making harvest difficult.”
