Fairmount, North Dakota farmer Corey Theede says conditions have improved, allowing them to wrap up his small grain harvest. “I think everything we had was above 14 (percent protein) so we were happy with our protein and the bushels, I’m going to figure we’re probably going to be in that mid-60, maybe pushing 70 (bushels per acre). We can’t complain.” When RRFN interviewed Theede, he was finishing up his sugarbeet pre-pile quota for Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative.
