Every bushel deserves a spot in the hopper. “A lot of people remember how beans dried down so fast last year and the amount of shatter loss on the ground,” said Tim Nelson, territory manager, Crary Industries. “The Crary Wind System and Air Reel are both designed to use high pressure to move the beans back into the header; with the Air System of Air Reel, you capture the bulk of those beans.” These systems provide a constant high-velocity stream of air that is positioned over the cutter bar on a soybean header. This air stream keeps the crops feeding evenly into the combine by pushing it back toward the auger or right onto the draper belt.
