Agriculture groups are voicing both support and concern following the release of the Make Our Children Healthy Again strategy. NPPC is calling for fair definitions of ultra-processed foods and protections for safe additives and animal feed standards. The National Association of Wheat Growers also responded, emphasizing the importance of crop protection tools. NAWG cautioned against labeling enriched and refined grains as harmful, stressing their value in providing fiber, iron, folic acid, and other key nutrients, particularly in underserved populations.
