The Brazilian Foreign Ministry has begun the formal process to retaliate against the steep tariffs imposed by the United States. President Trump imposed a 50 percent tariff on Brazilian imports last month. In addition to unfair trade practices, Trump is upset with the current government’s legal action against former Brazilian President Bolsonaro.
