After ten years in the role, North Dakota Farm Bureau President Daryl Lies is not seeking re-election. “Every organization needs a new face to leadership, new ideas, new excitement, and passion. It wasn’t an easy decision after that long, but I don’t think any leadership position in the organization should become a lifetime deal.” Lies is proud of the progress made during his tenure. “The changes and the positive things that we’ve done in the last ten years, since I’ve had the opportunity to be in that lead position as president, are second to none. Financially, the organization is in great shape thanks to the great vision by fellow board members who shared a vision of growth along with me.”
