The Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council used Farmfest to highlight how checkoff dollars are benefiting corn farmers. Council Chair John Mages said this year’s theme was ‘Checkoff Delivers.’ “We want to show the people what their checkoff dollar is bringing,” said Mages. “We talk about export markets, we talk about some of the products that are made from corn.” More than $2 million dollars is invested annually in research, much of it in partnership with the University of Minnesota.
