Three projects received money from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Diversification and Development Fund in the past quarter. Northland Sires, located at Kathryn, North Dakota, was awarded $250,000 to develop a bull test facility. Another $250,000 was awarded to Dakota SAO to reconfigure their swine facilities to accommodate breeding gilts and enhance biosecurity. Richter Farms will receive just under $188,000 to transition their dairy facility to a beef cattle backgrounding operation.
