In the second quarter, the BASF Agricultural Solutions segment recorded volume growth of 21 percent from the same period last year. Overall sales fell more than two percent, dragged down primarily by its petrochemical business. The German company is legally separating its ag business unit with an initial public offering expected in 2027.
