North Dakota wheat farmer Jim Pellman is the new chairman of the U.S. Wheat Associates Board of Directors. Pellman, who farms near McClusky, took the gavel during the group’s summer meeting on July 17 in Boise, Idaho. Pellman has served on the North Dakota Wheat Commission and previously worked as an ag lender and banker. As chairman, he says he plans to meet more global customers and highlight the value U.S. farmers place on producing high-quality wheat.
