Veteran farm broadcaster and broadcast sales professional Mike Perrine passed away this past week. Perrine, 83, spent time at several Illinois radio stations and AgriTalk. Perrine operated his own company, MP Ag Radio, in recent years and was still hosting on-air programs earlier this month. Perrine has been a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting since 1978. He volunteered his time for the organization, including serving as the long-time chair of the awards committee. Perrine was inducted into the NAFB Hall of Fame in 2023. Here’s a link to the video commemorating his Hall of Fame career. The Red River Farm Network extends its sympathies to family and friends.
