Tronson Grain agronomist Tyler Calderwood, who is based in Doyon, North Dakota, said conditions vary, but overall, crops are holding up well. “The wheat and barley look good. The corn needs some heat. Soybeans, they’re struggling this year. The drill beans definitely showed this with a weaker stand; planter beans look really good.”
