Ihry Insurance agent Reed Ihry, based at McVille, said much-needed rain has been seen in parts of North Dakota’s northern tier, but also caused hail damage. With the tornadoes and straight-line winds earlier in the month, Ihry said the agency has been flooded with calls from clients reporting damage to equipment, buildings, and grain bins. “We’ve got equipment damaged, buildings gone, grain bins that didn’t have grain in them, a lot of them are just rolled away.” RRFN caught up with Ihry during Tuesday’s Crop Watch broadcast.
