Permitting Changes Included in MN Enviro Bill

The Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Working Group reviewed their compromise budget bill, but no action was taken. The bill makes changes in the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency permitting process and tweaks the grants managed by the Board of Water and Soil Resources. It also expedites the review process for feedlot applications. The working group’s agreement will eventually be heard as a bill in a special legislative session.
