Terry Wanzek says the weather stalled planting activity on his Jamestown area farm for nearly two weeks. “I mean, it was a nice soaking rain, that’s for sure.” With improved conditions, Wanzek shifted gears quickly. “Once we get converted here, we’ll have 3,400 acres (of pinto beans) in before the end of the day,” was the comment made on Wednesday.
