House Republicans passed the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” early Thursday by a narrow 215-214 vote, moving forward a broad legislative package tied to President Trump’s policy agenda. The bill includes tax cut extensions, increased border and defense spending, stricter Medicaid work rules, and a rollback of green energy incentives. It also raises the debt ceiling by $4 trillion. House Agriculture Committee Chair Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson backed the measure, highlighting its focus on rural investment and fiscal reform. The bill now heads to the Senate.
