Time and Talent Recognized by NDSU Extension

NDSU Extension presented its 2025 Friend of Extension Award to Nancy Nicolas-Maier and Larry Hoffman. Nikolas-Mayer is the director of the adult and aging services division with the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services. Hoffman is a Cass County farmer and a past member of the State Board of Agriculture Research and Education. At its spring conference, NDSU Extension also gave out its 2024 Friend of Extension Award to JoAnn Rodenbiker and Marie Hvidsten. Rodenbiker served on SBARE and on the NDSU Extension Citizen Advisory Council. Hvidsten is currently the coordinator for NDSU Extension’s Building Tomorrow’s Leaders program and previously served as the program director for Rural Leadership North Dakota.
